it asset disposition
itamg
at cleverviral · my part: strategy, targeting and copy.
the situation
itamg pays businesses for retired it equipment and wipes it securely. nobody thinks about disposal until a migration forces it, the buyer cares first about who handles their data, and default outbound lands on the c-suite, which is the wrong person here.
what we did
led with security credibility before interest (gartner rating, r2 certification, 20+ years), with question-led openers for a technical buyer.
0.1% to 22.9% over five months, holding near 20%timed sends to migration hires like cloud architects, since every migration creates a disposal event 3 to 6 months later.
gave before asking: a fill-in-the-blanks data-sanitization policy for regulated industries.
~2x replyused dated triggers: windows 10 end of support, and announced mergers.
~2x replysplit industries into four tracks, each on its own compliance frame (hipaa, soc 2, public-sector data).
“shoutout to this entire team, you all are doing a great job and we have really enjoyed partnering. some big deals in the process from all of your work.”
